Maintenance loan awaiting confirmation

Hi, last week my maintenance loan that I applied for at the start of the month was accepted and the expected payment date was the 13th. It's the 19th now and the status is still awaiting confirmation which is fine, however since then the semester has ended. I just wanted to know if this will effect the date the loan will come in for and if this wait of nearly a week is normal.
