Blog Post no.1:
Quite a fun day. Already summed up my feelings as being exhausted but content here
:xmas:

What I'm grateful for today

-My friends! I went out with them today and it really reminded me of how much I appreciate them and their kindess and their friendship and also them waiting for me in the cold because my train was late :colondollar:. They made me really enjoy myself from what was a tough few days :s-smilie: and have motivated me a little to start full-on revision tomorrow  *grumble*
-The trains - actually got home today so that's pretty good  *thanks the Gods*
-Gloves :yy: It's cold out there XD Really appreciated them!
-My Mum - I know she doesn't feel great - it's her body language. She won't tell me though. I try to make conversation, help with the dinner, but no :I. I'm so grateful for all she does though - despite being so unwell. Fingers crossed her medication shall start to be effective in time for Xmas!

A random act of kindness I've done

-Shared out one of my secret santa presents I received (in my group of friends)
-Shortbreads for everyone!
-Also made conversation with a lonely stranger on my train which for me, is hard to do because I find speaking to strangers when alone very difficult :s-smilie: but he was very kind

A random act of kindness someone has done for me

-Already mentioned the friends thing - they're so selfless
-My Mum saved me some dinner as I got home later than I thought
-erm Sainsbury's made shortbread? :dontknow: ly guys <3

Things I did well

-I didn't let what happened the last few weeks overcome me when going round the stalls at Winter Wonderland :xmas:
I was able to relax and have a good time and it was lovely!
-I talked to some of my friends about how I was feeling and they helped a lot. I owe them lots. Some of them are on here :grouphugs: thank you
-I had some time to myself to just sort of zone out and listen to the ticking of the clock and watch the Christmas tree lights - a little reflection of the day and I may or may not have been working out the square root of 57 :innocent:

Something I could improve on -Sleeping early and sleeping wellWhenever I'm heading off to bed or after I've finished distracting myself with work/tsr/life, I read for a bit and then it all comes flooding back :s-smilie:I think I need to work on having more time to myself in the day and try to use this thread and some advice on how to do it all better :s-smilie:

-Being productive, concentrated and focus. I need stuff to get done tomorrow! :work: CMON CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!
-Worrying about everything. Worrying about things I cannot control. Worrying about things that have happened in the past that I fear will happen again :frown: This is strongly related to the Christmas period and so it's scared me/featured in nightmares over the past few days :s-smilie:
@fatima1998 also had a chat with me not too long ago (she is amazing - that girl :cube:), she told me this:
we often dont think about what is good in our lives and tend to focus on those things that aren't so good....we are just focusing on little things and dragging it for longer which makes us sad

I think this applies to me a lot. I want to do something about it. Maybe this thread will help. I sure hope so

What I've achieved today

-Officially ate a lot of food
-Socialised with friends
-Started this blog :ahee:
-Made someone's day
-Had some fun
-Destressed
-Deviated underneath this bullet point :colondollar:
-2 Pikachus :colone: :pika: :xmas:

What I've done to look after my mental health

-Took some time to chill out
-Went out with friends
-Ate lots of food :rofl3: :mmm:
-Talked to friends about what is bothering me

Something I have to look forward to

-CHRISTMAS - family time on Xmas itself - Auntie+Cousins coming on Boxing Day :santa2: :reindeer:
-My 18th Birthday :shh:
-Tesco delivery is tomorrow ahahhahaa :excited: :woo: :yay:  :party2: :rave:
-I'm making pancakes for breakfast on Wednesday :ahee:

Awww thank you for the tag :hugs: glad to hear you like my blog! Its more like a novel though :teehee:

I'll be updating my mindfulness blog later with a post about how I'm grateful for TSR and how certain users have made my experience on here brilliant, so expect a wee tag then

Also, expect another tag in a day or two when I finally make my personalised Vocaroo recording  I've got the cold atm and sound all snotty so I'd best leave it another day or two :colondollar:
