Hey there! Sorry about the late reply! The night life is great, yeah, it's really student-centric and there's a huge variety of clubs depending on what you're into! It's also great because every night of the week is student night somewhere, so it's easy to get cheap entry/drinks.
I stayed in Hamwic, and I really liked it, personally, but I've heard good things about all the halls!

Yeah I was really interested in the fact they have video production and photography. I'm kind of unsure of radio though, but I've not done that before so I'm up for giving that a go.

Yeah, that's how a lot of people feel about radio, because it's never taught in school. Whether or not you enjoy the radio module, though, it's only one module in the first year and you don't have to take it in the second year if you don't enjoy it! It's great experience though, and the uni has a good student radio station which is good work experience! Plus one of my best friends on the course loves radio, it turned out to be her favourite module!

I'm hoping to start this year (Popular music production). I want to apply for Camp America for next summer but you need to fly out by mid-June. Summer term seems to end mid July - is that right?How can I find out when exams/assessments will be over?
