I'm studying The Rotters' Club and I'm struggling but can't find any resources to help me. Can anyone help with their own advice or resources?

it was made into a TV series which you might be able to find online:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0426367/
This book gives quite a good and readable sense of the economic and social backdrop to the book - the strikes, the bombings &c.

If you still are struggling, if you google dailymotion the rotters club the tv series is there. It is in 3 episodes and isn't word for word but seeing it visually definitely helped me due to the immense amount of characters and the depth in each one.
