GCSE AQA Biology B2- Mitosis and Meiosis?

In the specification it says that the knowledge and understanding of the stages in mitosis and meiosis is not required, and the textbook also doesn't give a detailed explanation of mitosis but for meiosis it does. So I was wondering if I have to know the stages for both in detail and if they'll ask a question that will require me to write down the stages of mitosis or meiosis( like a 6 mark question). Oh and I'm doing the GCSE exam this summer so its the 2014 and onward spec I'm using, not the 2016 one.
