The minimum grade requirement for entry into the Sixth Form is AAABB; A grades are expected in the subjects to be studied at A-level.

Google is your friend

For me I hated that place  Looked round i wasn't a fan.
Everyone seemed too work obsessed, having said that i know lots of people going there this year.
The people I know got
6A*s 6 A's
4 A*'s 7A's
11 A*'s 1A
10 A*'s 2A's
4 A's 7B's
list goes on..
most people who go there are from the grammar school to start with..
but in all honesty its not relevent your grades to that much of an extent.
My mates who got 11A*'s each got turned down. Plenty plenty do.
They are more interested with your personality, hobbies etc.
When i say that they don't want people going in all cocky like "oh yes done this done that.." its just a regular school. be yourself and they'll like you for it.
As long as you have A's in the 4 subjects you want to take. Nothing else matters asuch.
I went and am going to CRGS for A-level. I always thought the entry requirement was set a little higher than that for those coming into the school from other schools compared to those already at the school, but I may be wrong.

Which A-levels are you doing?

P.S I got 10 A*s and 2 As but I agree with Bexx in that they care more about your personality than your grades (as long as you have them) as they have a big emphasis on sixth form life being all communal and such.

Ooh I go to CCHS... CRGS is just round the corner!

Sorry, that wasn't very helpful :p: The people I know who've gone to CRGS do have mostly A*s at GCSE, but if your school doesn't have a very good pass rate they'd probably take that into account
No but I know someone who is. Very hard to get in!

You get invited for an interview... and tyey will ask u on the spot questions about the subjects u want to study.
If u want to do a language, they will give u a sentance and u have to translate into that language.
And they will ask u sciency questions for science ETC.
