Field Hockey - illegal stick?

I currently have a stick from last season (06/07) - a TK CX1plus - is it now illegal?

I heard from a friend that it is now illegal due to its concave face on its flat side, but I can't find anything in the FIH Rules of (outdoor) Hockey 07-08 detailing that it is so. It is in the 25mm bow/rake limit and it isnt aluminium or anything.

Has anyone else heard about or know anything about this?

P.S. when i say 'illegal' i mean 'against the Rules of Hockey'

If it is within the bow limit of 25mm and the rules do not mention anything further to the precise effect you described, then I shouldn't imagine there is much to worry about. However, if you want to be doubly sure, your coach or local club will be able to clarify the situation more thoroughly. Besides this, you could contact the IHB or English Hockey directly, who have departments specifically designed to deal with such requests.

They are only illegal if you play at national league level or above in the Uk. Though why anyone would want to use one is beyond me cos the bend doesn't do what its supposed to.

The TK CX1plus has a 24mm bow so its within legal limits. However make sure the stupid umpire puts your stick on flat ground, as he tried to take my 25mm bow stick off me ^_^
