Where to live near London? Safe, green and open-minded place

The London Borough of Sutton (includes Sutton, Carshalton, Wallington, Cheam, Worcester Park- all good places to live) is safe, green and quite open minded, but it's in Zone 5 so a bit further away. It has really good schools and transport links are good. Pretty much everyone who lives there likes it.
-Low crime rate
-Good schools
-Affordable
-Lots of families
-There are European immigrants and Polish/Eastern European shops
