So I got my BA two years ago (at Roehampton) and now I want to re-enter the fray.

    I have a few questions...

    01. What is the difference between an MA and an MRes and which one should I choose?

    02. I'm sending enquiries / applying to all the appropriate universities listed on the Hobsons UK website? Does anyone know if this is a complete list (I don't think it is) and - if not - where online I can find a complete list?

    03. What are the relative merits / faults of the following for Masters English Lit? Sussex, Loughborough, Bath Spa, Bristol, Durham, Hertfordshire, Leeds, Nottingham, Portsmouth, Sheffield, Southampton, York, Worcester and Warwick.

    04. Any I've missed off the list (and what are their relative merits / faults)? By the way, I don't want to study in or near London or in Northern Ireland...

Hobnob's reply to you on the English forum was good. For question 3, it's really a case of deciding what subject interests you most, and doing your own research as to which department is most closely linked to that particular topic, and so on.
