Creative Writing degree but with help on my pathway Watch

Hi, I am a creative writing student which is what I am proud to be doing. However, I want to be a writing therapist. I am doing my degree online with the OCA, I know I need some counselling (or psychology???) courses to delve into this. But to what level do I do? Where can a disabled student go to study these courses, I have looked online. Many college courses in my area have been discontinued. Or you have to pay for them which I can't afford at the moment. But, hoping in the next year to be driving and possibly able to get a part time job to cover any future courses. Anyone know how I go about this, advice or anyone with similar goals? Thanks in advance.

If you are determined to do your chosen degree, disability should make no difference.

1. You get a normal student loan (apply early) - which you repay gradually after you qualify only after you earn more than a certain minimum income - also interest rate is very very low.

2. You get DSA if you qualify (Disabled Students Allowance) which can cover cost of laptop, printer, voice recorder for lectures, perhaps help with books.

3. You get extra time about 12 minutes for every hour in your exams.

GO FOR IT!! and Good Luck!
