    i'm currently taking a Networking and System Administration class. we use Fedora 7 as our main tool for the networking and admin work. Our Prof wants to have a project by the end of the semester....can some one suggest me a good project to do by using Linux-fedora 7 environment. example of a project that have been done is: 3 computers running a MySQL srever. if one of the computer is down, the other 2 computer will still run the server and the client will not fill a thing. or the other is creating Students account using NFS, ext...

    hope i got some ideas from u guys

    Well depends ont he complexity you need to do Maybe try somethign with LDAP and openexchange. Surely he must have given you a specification as to what he wants involved in the project.

    Another possibility might be a distirbuted file system with redundancy. So wehen a machine goes down all data is still avaliable. The possibilitites are endless..
