'Draw a graph showing how interest and capital paid off changes over the period of a mortgage'. I kept a line straight across indicating interest as that is fixed, then a diagonal line from bottom to top indicating capital is slowly paid off...

Tee, you've posted questions like this before; while I appreciate that graphs have something or other to do with maths, you'll find that most of us invariably don't have a clue how capital is paid off or how interest changes over the period of a mortgage. I shall ask for this to be moved to the economics forum where you might get an answer.
