Hi, I've applied to Plymouth uni for 2017 entery and I was wondering what was included with the halls (I was looking at st Thomas's court) and if it included stuff like wardrobes, chair? Been looking on the website and can't find a definite answer, thanks 😊

    Hey Katie!

I don't know the exact answer for you, as I'm looking at the accommodation still myself for 2017 entry - but I did find this online which might be of some help:

"What you'll need to bring with you:

A passport size recent photograph to hand into halls on arrival.
Bedding: check the bed size in your hall before buying (mattress sizes are shown on this page)
    • A duvet
    • Duvet covers
    • Pillows
    • Pillow covers
    • Bed sheets

    • Towels
    • Toiletries

    • Frying pan or wok, pots and pans
    • Cutlery
    • Plates
    • Cups
    • Dishes
    • Cooking dishes
    • Cooking equipment, for example grater, colander, spatulas, wooden spoons
    • Tea towels

    Additional items:
    • Toilet paper
    • First aid items such as plasters, painkillers, etc
    • Cleaning materials – remember you must clean your own room and your shared kitchen."

Yeh it will come with a desk check, as well as a wardrobe. I'm not in St Thomas but my wardrobe also came with a few hangers in it as well. You will need to bring kitchen equipment with you.
