Yeah there are a couple - DanceSoc and DanceSport. Both will probably hold events during fresher's week.

, though why they don't both just merge I have no idea.

DanceSport is mainly ballroom dancing and they're very into the dance competitions for this.

DanceSoc is everything else - mainly ballet, tap, street and contemporary, with classes of different ability levels for each. It's £12 a year to join and I'd say it's definitely worth it - classes for members are only £2 whereas classes for non-members are £4, so it soon pays itself back. The classes are excellent, the society is very well-organised and there's often a piece put together for arts week at the end of the year.

There will be taster classes during freshers' week.

i kind of fancy joining though i have zero experience when it comes to any dance thing. what i lack in talent i make up for in enthusiasm!
