I always thought homosexuality was unhygienic and that was what put me off it but I forgot about girls...would it still be unhygienic? They don't go in the back end do they....

Oh well things are forbidden. Like things aren't less forbidden coz that makes no sense lol but the severity of the sin is different. There are major and minor sins. Like for example me swearing is a sin, but it's minor and drinking alcohol is a major sin. Three sins among the top worst sins are Zina (sex before marriage), Murder and Shirk is the worst.
Like for example; if you are unfocussed in prayer and make a little mistake in ur recitation, that's a minor sin. But if you missed your prayer that is a major sin. The punishment for major sins are worse than the minor sins if u get me.
It's like speeding and selling drugs are both against the law, but one is a minor offence and one is a major offence and will get u punished more.
This is true. I wasn't trying to dispute your view on homosexuality as a sin btw lol. Thanks for clearing things now I get what you mean.

Personally, I disagree with such a viewpoint because it (inevitably) leads to greater indulgence in "smaller sins", which still equates to disobeying divine laws.

My belief is summed up aptly by this saying:

"Don't look at the size of sin, look at who you are disobeying" Imam Ali Ibn Hussain

If you got into a relationship and you knew it was going to be serious and long term would you come out to your parents?

Daily reminder that you are not a Muslim.
You cannot be a lesbian and a Muslim at the same time, it is absolutely haram.
Consider yourself an atheist for now.

Do you plan to be a practicing Muslim when you into a lesbian relationship. If yes, what is your thought process.

Harsh but true (from another Muslim).

A question to you Planetpink would be why on Earth do you call yourself a Muslim?

Like how would you classify yourself as a Muslim currently?

Do you not feel ashamed that you are labelling yourself a Muslim, doing things which are clearly FORBIDDEN in Islam, then going into public and continuing to labelling yourself a Muslim? No to mention the fact that (although it sounds harsh it is true) that people like you give Islam a bad name.

And why do you feel you are a Lesbian (as in the cause of this)? The reason I ask this because in the majority of cases it is to do with something that has happened eg:
    1. Dysfunctional family atmosphere
    2. Emotional Insecurities
    3. Physical Flaws
    4. Pornography
    5. Hatred towards Men

    And so on.

Would be really interesting to hear your answers to all of the above questions, so please do answer when you get the chance
I haven't read what yu quoted, but my understanding of religions is that to have a dutiful relationship with an obvious omnipotent being. Ispo facto, a follower's approval / verdict on one's relationship with god is irrelevant.

I come across Muslims everyday who miss prayer, fornicate, lie and do many other things which are literally forbidden in the religion also.

I'm not trying to shame those people but if your argument is that how can I be Muslim while I am doing something forbidden which is being a lesbian what would you say about the people doing the things I mentioned.
