I'm studying for my A levels but do not have a 'designated' study space. At the moment I work in the kitchen which can be quite noisey and busy. My room is rather small and not practical for studying. Sometimes I go in the lounge but it's a hassle setting everything up. I'm worried that this is impinging on my grades and progress. Any ideas?

Try the local library, I find time passes so slow in the library and I can get tonnes of work done!

Tried spending time in the school library after school? You'd even have teachers on hand to help if you get stuck.
You could always try using some noise-eliminating headphones and a gentle backing track e.g. Enya, or just like the rain (http://www.rainymood.com/) and making sure everyone understands you are studying and ask them politely not to disturb you, possibly have a conversation with your parents about it too if it's your siblings interfering.
