    I'd say no lol. It's the 21st century.

    Asian girls (Indian specifically) do so much for their in laws anyway, move out their home and live with husbands family, take care of them etc. Bear their children and continue the family name, what more do they want. Modern guys and modern families accepting. If you're marrying into a freshy family then it's not going to work. I have a brother, she can keep her maiden name if she chooses to. My family would prefer hyphen as it shows two families joined together.
