    Hello everyone!

I'll try and make this as short and clear as possible.

Do I have a chance to do a physiotherapy degree with btecs in applied science (considering that I'm on track on getting DDD)? Most universities ask for either btecs in sports & human biology OR a levels.

A short background story about myself. I came to the UK three years ago at the age of 16 (past the "school age"), meaning that I have limited options on what to do next/ at Uni. I went for science and English & maths- I finished my gcse maths with B and I'm doing my English gcse exam this year (aim 4/c).

I am really interested in both chemistry and physiology, also I'm all about healthy life style and wellbeing. Originally, I wanted to do pharmacy, but my tutor told me that Uni's rarely accept only btecs, so I went for my plan B which is physiotherapy- I know they are completely different but both of them appeals to me so much.

One last thing to mention, is that I have my GCSE's from my country (8 subjects with an overall grade of 90%). Do you think they can help me to do one a level along side my btecs (eg. A level in human biology to go with my btecs). Or at least make any use of them.

Apologies for my English. Any advice is much appreciated.

The entry requirements are key so have a look at unis and what they ask for. In most cases they will want some A levels with your BTECs but there may be some unis that will take you with just the BTECs.

Thank you for replaying !! And yes I did look at couple of Unis, however the ones that excepts btecs are usually in sports science and not applied. I'm still looking tho, hope I'll find one.
