I recently applied for a course at the university and am a international student myself from America. So I won't be able to answer all your questions but I can share some insight from my research. The university has a society called ACS standing for Afro-Caribbean society, you can follow them on twitter and snap chat (I'm also Caribbean so I was seeking this information). As far as off campus housing there are many student apartments available within a 10 min walk from the university you should check out, it can be costly to live in London and they seem pretty affordable and they are all inclusive. I would google search Cyn but try Kingston Plaza that's a place I was looking at as well. Good luck on your application I hope you get in!
