Hi I have had my scientific calculator for about 2 years and have always had it on the same setting as it came. It's the Casio fx-83gt plus . The other day I went in to math class and the teacher re changed my settings. For instance when you press the fractions button it use to come up with 2 bodies and the line between as now it's an l shape. And other issues are going wrong with it. I can't look on the instructions on the back of the case as I had to take it off when I did my gcse exams and didn't get it back. Anyone know how I can set the calculator back to default

my calculator is fx - 991ES PLUS so im not sure if I have the same functions as you. Above the number 9 does it say CLR. If it does then press shift and then 9 and then press 3 to clear the setup and memory and that should do it

If you don't then don't hesitate to message me

It sounds as if you are now in LineIO mode rather than MathIO mode.

Shift Setup, option 1 (MthIO), result format? 1 (MathO).

Try that and see if you are back to normal.
