Do teachers usually use past papers for A-level mocks and if so what year do they usually get them from?

Goes teacher by teacher, even teachers within the same subject and even the same teacher will give different past papers as mocks to different classes e.g in maths my teacher gave her block 4 2013 but gave us 2012 for our first Core 3 mock, but they more than likely won't give you last year until your final mock before your real exams as they often save the last (often seen as the hardest one) till the one just before your exam either to give you a boot up the backside to do more or to give you more confidence if you've done enough
