M1 by far, I failed it at AS and it pulled down my grade to a D. Hell, even C4 is easier. I am retaking all of last years maths papers this year and I am most worried about m1.
Here is the my personal order for difficulty of the modules:
    M1, C4. S1, C3, C2,C1

I never took M1, why do you think it's the hardest?

It's hard to describe, it's very different to the other maths modules and I am not good at it

Out of the ones I've studied (hardest to easiest):
    FP2
    FP3 / M2
    M1 / D2 / S1
    S2..4 / D1 / FP1
    C1..4

wait You find FP2 harder than M2, man M2 just takes so uch ****ing effort to remember all the little details

(Yet to study M3, 4 and 5 but I assume they're the hardest from previous similar threads)
    FP2/M2
    FP3
    C3/C4
    M1/S2
    C2/C1/FP1
    D1

And S1 can just **** off

FP2 has a hell of a lot more stuff to remember than M2, and the complex numbers and DEs are miserable.
M2 was my worst exam in terms of UMS so far, though.

Something like this, from hardest to easiest
    FP3
    FP2
    D2
    C3/C4
    C2/D1
    S1
    C1/S2
    FP1

I don't know where to place M1, because it isn't necessarily a difficult module, but it's so incredibly boring, that I forget everything in the book.

This thread is a bit daft as the different Awarding Bodies do not include the same content in their modules. Anyone contributing probably needs to state whether they are with Edexcel, AQA, OCR, OCR MEI etc.

    Hardest to easiest:
    FP2 (though I enjoy it)
    FP1
S2/C4 (haven't done much of either though)
    C3/M2
    C2/S1
    M1/C1/D2
    D1

I found FP1 hard as there was so much content and nothing was really explained fully (knowledge>understanding). FP2 is much better in that regard, though I haven't done enough of it to do a past paper yet. Mechanics is fab & Decision is fairly easy, if you don't rush and make silly little mistakes (as they can drop you a lot of marks). Stats isn't too hard - just extremely dull.

    I'm on AQA
