I would like to do my EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) on something to do with Classical Civilisation but I am not sure exactly as the essay's have to be pretty specific. I am interested in myths and customs in Ancient Athens and Rome but I am not sure how to turn that into a suitable question to answer and do my research on! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! thanks xx

They sound like great ideas so far! Have you thought about looking at how various tragic dramatists depict the same myths? For example, you could look at the portrayal of someone like Electra, since she was portrayed in some way by all three of the main dramatists?

If you wanted to look at customs, one idea might be to look at how important were burial customs and why?

Feel free to PM me or talk and/or to your Classics teacher to get more ideas and looking at whether you're more interested in looking at the literature or 'real life' etc.

    Hope it goes well!
