    Easily the former.

    There are many teens/people in this country who have never played an actual game of football outside of school and don't have an excessive interest in the sport, yet will still happily sit down and play a few rounds on a console.

    I'd rather play real football, but it's more effort. And organising enough people to play and what day they can make it etc is a hassle. Especially in my friend group.
