So it's my first year at college and I'm currently studying AS Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology with the hope of either going into Medicine or Pharmacology. However, to be honest, I am slightly struggling with the sciences (Chemistry and Biology) as I feel like I could understand the topics in class but as soon as it comes to the exams I'm not doing so well. In addition, it can be quite difficult to find a textbook that includes every detail you need to know, so sometimes I find that I'm struggling to find good sources of information other than textbooks and class notes. PLEASE HELP!!

    Hey there,
I'm sorry to hear you're struggling.

I found s-cool and chemguide to be useful at A-level.

    chemrevise is excellent for chemistry

physicsandmathstutor has some brilliant biology resources (ik the name is slightly ironic)

Hope you find them as useful as I do

Check out mrothery.co.uk for biology - excellent website - which board are you doing? For AQA, the books by Glen & Susan Toole are superb: everything explained concisely and in an easy to remember format (numbered or bulleted), very clear diagrams and practice Qs.
