This means you have to sign the Declaration Form. You can check 'View Correspondence' to see if they've sent you the form by post. Obviously after you sign it you have to return it ASAP otherwise your Payment Schedule Letter won't be sent.

edit: In my application, it was sent with my Financial Notification.
Mine says the same, if you view the correspondence from them it should show the letter they have sent to you. On mine this includes a declaration form which you have to sign & send off & a financial notification.

yea same here, i phoned them up and they said the letter is in the post, no need to worry, just make sure you send it off the same day, were the late ones:p:

This is correct. You need to send it to the address that is on the application form. You can view the form that they have sent you in the correspondance area, but it is important that you return the form that they send you through the post and not one that you print off the students' secure area of the website. They have been sending letters to me at the wrong address - I require letters in a larger font, which they send to Glasgow before being past on to me. I never received them, but thankfully this is all sorted now - even though they continue to send me the letters when I have already sent off the signed decleration. Sorry - story over!

Hope this helps.

I'm having a similiar problem on my account it says, loan approved - awaiting signature, but its been saying that for a while now.

On the 'View Correspondence' the lastest entry is:

Missing student signature dated on the 30/07/08 is that what I'm looking for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Erm....I have a problem.

I have been in France for the past two months, and assumed that as soon as I got back I would have my loan (I applied for it before I left) but now I realise I had to sign a form and send it back. Which obviously I havent done, so I have no loan :frown:

Im expecting that it would take weeks for them to check my signed declaration and award my loan...so what if I were to go to the offices in Glasgow, can they process it through on the day?

I have the approved/awaiting signature, but I sent off the declaration off over a week ago, and now I've been sent another letter saying that they still haven't recieved my signature, and to refill out another declaration form, but what if they don't recieve the new one either? This is getting silly. :frown:

Just sign it and send it off. Then they have a chance of at least getting one of them?

yea same.
That should mean we get it on time, shouldnt it?
If we start in Sept 09 and get it in Aug 09.
Mine is showing up as "Awaiting further information" online, and they're saying they never received a "loan request form" yet they did receive the "application form". What!? I'm also getting "Application Pend Reason • You have not signed the Application/Declaration"

I've spoken to them about 5 times on the phone in the past few days and they've assured me the declaration and approval letter is in the post but I'm yet to receive a thing. Also, if I check the status on the automated service, it says "complete". This is getting REALLY frustrating. I just wish I knew what the hell was going on. If I don't have any kind of approval letter by the end of next week, no course for me.

I got approved/awaiting signature on the website. There is no 'view correspondance' so I can't see what letter I should receive. I have a question though. Does this mean that they have looked at my mum's evidence and I am now entitled to the full maintenance grant which I applied for? And also will they send the letter to my halls as I am at uni now or do I need to ring them and tell them?
They should send it to the address in your application, I suggest you ask some one from 'home' to forward it to you.
