Any advice on what I should do
I was going to keep my job so that I could save some money before I go and have some savings but if its going to affect my maintence loan im not sure what to do

Assuming you are under 25 and dependent on your parents, most likely no. Student Finance do not take part time work into consideration and I've never seen anything or full time work either. If you are an independent student over 25 then your income and partners income are assessed. Otherwise your parents income is assessed. So odds are neither your jon now nor your job at uni will be factored in.
