Hello, I had to withdraw from university in 2016 and had to set up a direct debit to pay a large amount of money back that I had not been entitled to. I am applying for uni again this year and hence for student finance again. Will my direct debit repayments be put on hold from when I apply or will i continue to pay up until september? Also will any remaining balance be taken off my entitlement or will the remaining balance just be added to my bill to pay when I graduate and am earning etc.

HI, repayments will still be due on your account until you are back at university. We would then ask that you contact the collection team who you set up the arrangement with and advise them of your new financial situation. thanks
