Vet Med in Australia

I'm about to go into year 12 to do A levels, and i hope to go to uni to do veterinary science.

Thing is, i realise how competative it is to get into, and i was wondering if anyone knows if it is easier to get into a uni in Australia (due to competition)

I'd love to travel so wouldn't mind going abroad to study. I was just wondering if getting in is any easier than the UK and if the costs would be any different?

I hear that you need a UAI of 99 to get into vet medicine in Sydney.
That is like getting 10 A* and 5 A's.

vet med, along with med, law, dentistry, is very competitive in australia.
i know people who got 4 A's in A levels and couldn't get into university of melbourne.
