Im not sure if this should be in the University sub-forum but oh well.

Basically my nan has told me today that shes going to pay all my tuition fees for Uni, and pay me £75 a week towards my rent at Uni! I cant believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that means, I only need money for going out and stuff.

How much money do you spend a week on average? Excluding rent of course

Am I the only one not worried about getting into debt? After all you only pay it off when you earn over a certain amount, so it's not going to cripple you or anything. Then there's the fact my tuition fees would be paid for by 'the state' anyway. I'd get a £1,000 grant from Cambridge if got in (fingers crossed) and I'd be eligible for the full student loan as well, which is nice.

Anyway, well done, and whatever extra money you get - "Don't spend it all at once"

I averaged about £80-100 p/week, so you're still gonna need quite a lot of cash if you don't want to be worrying about money all the time.

I wasnt worried about debt to be honest, but Id rather come out of uni having to pay off £0 than £10000

This is amazing, it means I can spend more money getting pissed and stuff

Does your nan have a rich sister willing to adopt a grandson by any chance? (I'm available!!!)

*Really feeling the lack of any grandparents here* (Why did they have to go and pop their clogs?)
