    Hi,

I have a huge problem. This is something I can't really ignore anymore. I'll try to keep this short. A little while back, my laptop's hinge popped out. This worsened to the extent that it completely detached from my laptop. Soon after, colours started to prop up on my computer (green and purple). This became more and more frequent but now, my laptop is just randomly turning off. As a matter of fact, It's turned off about 4 times while writing this so I apologise if this appears rushed. Anywho, what can I do about this?

    Thanks.

You probably need to take it for a repair, sounds like some components are damaged. I wouldn't advise fiddling with it as it could make the problem worse.

The hinge is usually where all the connections to the screen go. If that is damaged then odds are you've damaged the screen connection, or possibly the screen itself. Hinges don't just pop out, I'm guessing the laptop has been damaged in some way to cause this. Likewise damage has probably been caused elsewhere.

You could get it repaired but personally if it were me I'd get a new laptop.
