    Hello

Im a 16 yr old male, I don't have any friends and haven't had any before either which might be because I dont feel comfortable around people. I get anxious really easily so I don't talk to strangers... i've always found social situations difficult and have feelings of anxiety. My main problem is that I am also really slow... my brain is slow to process information and my surroudings... i'm finding it really difficult and i have nobody to speak to about how i feel . Is there anything i could do ? I am studying a levels and it isnt easy like this

You may need to challenge yourself to get over the walls that you have put up yourself, maybe relaxation techniques to face your fears

What do you mean ? Is it my fault I'm feeling like this?

it's not your fault ! I'm sorry to hear. My advice would be to tell your school about it and they may be able to offer you support as many schools have a counselling service. They can also alter your exams for you, my school did this for me last year. If your school has no counselling service then perhaps you could go and seek alternative help with a counsellor outside of school?

Its more like an unconscious wall you put up, im not saying you do it to yourself deliberately but it can be corrected with relaxation techniques when you face anxiety problems such as talking to someone
