I'm struggling to memorise things especially when it comes to physics and english, probably because i hate these two subjects. Any tips? And i'm also struggling to revise for the new maths 9-1 papers? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hiya,

For memory, I use lots of colour, colour coding and shapes as this helps me to link things in my mind. I also make large posters of processes or timelines and this helps me to remember the order of things. Reciting or chanting things or making a saying or song works for some people but not for others.

For maths, the more practice you do the more you'll improve. Learn the maths facts such as angles and shapes that'll help you solve the problems. Practice using the equations so that you're comfortable using them and can recognise which one to use in a question. Practice as many questions as possible (use the old papers and papers from other exam boards- this will help to prepare you for unexpected questions!)
