Interested in staying in halls if I study at UCL, it says on their website it is not guaranteed if you live in London which makes sense due to the demand, reason why I want ot do student accomadation is that my parents are selling our house and moving away this year and also because student accomadation seems more social, wondering from any UCL students who have stayed in halls/houses if it is likely I will get a place in halls despite this, and if you have met people from London in halls.

If ucl is your firm uni choice and you apply for accommodation, you are guaranteed a space.

Loads of people in halls are from London, although I think the introduction of the night tube might just change that a tiny bit.

Going to UCL and living at home is lame, unless your parents happen to live in Camden.

One thing I would advise tho - if you're going to pay for halls, you might as well benefit from it and stay as close as possible to campus - Schaefer or Ramsey or Gower St. There's no inherent novelty to coming to London for you, so you might as well be as close to lectures as possible and not pay any travel.

If you're worried, apply to the UoL halls.
