Are you allowed to put posters up?

Greetings, im going to be staying in university accommodation at the Brakenhurst campus and I was wondering if you are allowed to have posters on the walls.

I'm going to take a few posters, large ones, and pin them up with pins rather than using blu-tac, I'm sure you can't get into trouble doing that. :smile:

in the halls where im staying (norton court), apparenty ur not allowed to use pins in the board in your room because it will damage the board and u will be fined!! i know! ridiculus!! blue tack it is then i guess

All rooms, regardless of which Halls they're at, should come with a poster board. You're only supposed to put the posters and photos upon that.

Saying that though, I was at the Maltings, and no one cared about us putting posters anywhere else, just as long as we didn't leave any stains on the walls.

yeah i guess, officially ur not allowed to stray from the boards, but no one cares, i mean, even photos of rooms in the accomodation handbook had posters overing the walls!!
