I applied for a University and got a letter in the post of an unconditional offer and it said once i make it my firm choice they will change it to unconditional it currently is conditional and it said if it was my insurance it wouldn't be unconditional

It is my firm and has been for about 2 weeks
    why hasn't it changed
    can they revoke it now?

It hasn't changed because it's been Christmas and staff have better things to do. They're allowed holidays.

If it hasn't changed by the end of the month, contact UCAS or the university and inquire about it. Might just be an administration error

It's not likely to be an error

The earliest deadline for applicants to choose their firm choices is in May - admissions staff at the moment will be working on processing applications coming in. Manually updating offers for people like the OP isn't likely to be looked at or scheduled in until April time (ie the earliest time that it is sensible to choose a firm/insurance on Track).
