I want to grow my hair to about shoulder length. I am a massive 1970s fanatic which is where my desire to have long hair comes from as I feel it would reflect my personality. I have noticed that either the people I know or the photographs online that men online seem to be the rocker/Emo type Which im not.

I want my hair style to be similar to that of the characters Lennie Godber (Porridge B.B.C.), Citizen "Wolife" Smith (Citizen Smith, B.B.C.) and Robin Tripp (Man About the House, Thames Television)

I am currently been growing my hair out for a few months and it is already at a stage resembling a mix between Paul McCartney (The Beatles) and Patrick Troughton (Second Doctor Who)

I am also looking for a girlfriend who has similar interest as me and has a quiet reserved nature as myself.

Should I grow my hair longer and if I do so will I be successful at getting a girlfriend???
