On LSE's page for admission for Norwegian students it says the following:
"Applicants offering this qualification who are considered by the selector to be excellent may also be asked to sit the UG Admissions Assessment (UGAA)."

    http://www.lse.ac.uk/study/informati...uirements.aspx

Does this mean they admit some students and don't require them to do the UGAA? Or does it mean all the students they find good enough will be offered the UGAA?

    Thank you.

I did sections abc, my math went okay, section b went nicely content wise but damn the structure sucked due to the short time constraint. The précis I honestly can't tell.

same with section b. I had the content but didn't structure it well i feel. Math went well but I felt it was too long. I started with it thinking i will finish it quickly but took me 1 hour and a half almost.

ye, spent an hour on it, looked like something doable in 40 mins at the first glance but there was a lot of busywork involved, especially with the one with trains if you did section C. Gonna hope they respond by friday, want to get to worrying about accomodation now.

I think they will respond next week though since they told me they get the ugaa results by the end of march. Anyways, best of luck. did you get offers from other unis?

Yes, sitting on offers from Durham, St. Andrews and my suuuuper insurance ARU, got pooled at cambridge but noone wanted me at a different college. I applied for Economic History at LSE; History, and Modern History and Economics at the other places, with LSE being my go-to because of the proper Economic History course. How about you?

Wow congrats on the offers! great universities!
My offers are from Queen Mary and university of surrey. I am still waiting for SOAS and LSE. Of course LSE is my top choice so I'm really nervous about my ugaa results

Why did you have to sit the UGAA? I'm from an EU country from the unfortunate few whose school leaving certificates aren't valued by LSE at all.

Oh okay, I see. I am doing a foundation year now actually. That's why I needed to come for the test. I heard that the applicants selected for the test are those who show potential... so I guess we're doing well so far.
