One always finds one's burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that nightfilled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man's heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy

There isn't really IMO, look at the animal kingdom. They're born, they survive, they reproduce, they die.

There's no objective purpose that you can really find, just turn up and do stuff that makes you happy till you die then you can at least have a good time.

The end section of the Myth of Sisyphus is the most strange and confusing thing I've ever read.

I do agree that it is, for the most part, rather confusing until you read it 100 times lmao. I actually think Camus sums up his point much better earlier on when he says "there is no fate that cannot be surmounted by scorn"but imagining Sisyphus happy is probably a better point to end up.

What's the point in thinking what's the point rather than just cracking on with things for which your biology and psychology provide rewards mechanisms for?

If that's what floats your boat then question away. I'm going to go eat cereal for dinner and watch some VR porn though.

To make yourself and other people happy.

There is no 'meaning' of life. We just exist and we'll die. May aswell enjoy the ride
