how to get a retail job???

i really want to get a part-time job at a higher end retail store, like house fraser/superdry but none of them seem to have any vacancies what can i doo??? all help much appreciated :smile:

Yeah I hear you. I feel your pain - I was once in your position.

A lot of the stores do post their vacancies online, however, some stores put an advert on their window. It is worth handing in a C.V. to the manager at every retail store - you never know

Don't expect house of frazer or super dry if you have no experience. tips for getting an interview: 1. be VERY enthusiastic in your CV and cover letter 2. be very positive say NOTHING negative, don't use negative words(eg. don't, not) 3. show that you are a people's person and you love socialising 4. show knowledge and interest in the brand 5. say that you are very keen to learn and learn easily last but not least(this is very important) Be different! In your own way be different, grab their attention! hope it helps :smile:

Hey,
Without experience is not that easy anymore.
If you do have any experience in dealing with customers and working In a fast pace company.
Send your updated CV with a suitable cover letter( match what they want and the good about you)
Take your time while applying online or to stores to stand out.
Continue applying to many , do deep research ,there's always vacancies somewhere.

There's million fish in the sea that's wants a part time job.

Its not about You. Its about them( the company)
What can you bring to the company and how..
