A couple of months ago, we had an ISA, where we had to complete a candidate research sheet in preparation of Papers 1 and 2.

During the ISA, we weren't informed that we weren't allowed to copy our method word for word from the candidate research sheet into paper 1 (because apparently, you get marked down for it).

However, I've been getting mixed responses from teachers regarding the issue of copying your method from the candidate research sheet into paper 1. Some say I won't get marked down, and one or two have said I will. I checked the ISA rules pdf and it said "these must be checked to ensure they do not include plagiarised text or a pre-prepared draft".

The teacher who marked my ISA didn't say anything about my ISA (they didn't have an issue with the candidate research sheet method) and I'm wondering, do you reckon I won't get marked down for my method?

    Thanks to anyone who responds!
