So I've just used two SF calculators and they're giving me different results.
One is from studentfinance.gov but I think it said calculate for 2015/2016

The other is just gov.uk I think, but for the relevant year.

Which do I trust? Which is the right one?

The one for the relevant year
Thanks! Was just unsure, as the domain with "studentfinance" would have you believe that was the official and correct one!

2015/16 and 2016/17 will give you different results, as the payments will increase slightly year on year, and household income thresholds may change. Both calculators are correct, but you would need to choose the same year in both in order to get the same results.

As advised above, stick to the one for the year you want to know about.
