I really don't understand this question, it says: Cytotoxic t cells are able to destroy body cells that carry antigens that are not 'self'. Why may these cells not always kill all types of cancer cells? please help if anyone understands!

If these cancer cells carry antigens similar to healthy cells they would be difficult to detect as the immune system sees it as part of the normal tissue.
