I'm fairly confident with passing the majority of my GCSE's, while hopefully picking up A's and B's along the way (especially in RE).

I did foundation for maths, that was too easy and the other subjects i study are RE, Biology, Chemistry, Physics (Triple science), English lit, English Language, Product Design, maths, engineering

But, with the demolition of coursework for english, it seems extremely unnecessary to have to learn a entire anthology of poem and a ton of key quotes from a shakespeare text.

I did mocks before christmas and english seemed by far the hardest.

Does anyone else feel like this or am i just dumb? (My english teacher is awful too, but not much i can do about it)

    Hey,
I'm in year 13 now studying English Lit at A-Level and I still think having to memorise all of the quotations is ridiculous! What they've done to coursework is really unfair and puts you guys at a disadvantage compared to those of us who sat our GCSE's two years ago when course work was a more major component. Having said that I'm sure with revision you'll do fine on your English Lit exam and it's better to struggle with Lit than Language as passing Lit isn't compulsory so you won't be made to resit it at college,
    Good luck,
    Izzy 😊
