Please can someone explain how to do this question? the answer is 469 kJmol-1.
2SO2 (g) + O2 (g) -> 2SO3 (g) change in enthalpy= -192 kJmol-1
a. calculate the average bond enthalpy for the S=0 bond
b. the actual bond enthalpy for the S=O bond in So2 is 531 kJ mol-1. calculate the actual bond enthalpy for the S=O bond in SO3
