    I have the opportunity of a Work Placement abroad with college for 3 weeks.

    Do you think an employer would allow 3 straight weeks off?

    Depends when it is, they might allow it but it wouldn't be paid.. Unlikely though

    Speak to them about it , explain what it is for , some of it maybe unpaid but unless you speak to your boss then you'll never know ! Good luck x

    No harm in asking. Most places don't want peope away for more than 2 weeks in my experience but managers usually have some discretion to decide and if you can get cover that may help your cause.
