    Hello,

I have an undergraduate Master's degree in engineering from a Russell group uni (1st class) and currently work for an engineering consultancy.
I would like to study a postgraduate Master's in finance though I'm not quite sure if it is wise for me to do so given I have almost no prior knowledge in finance.
Will it be a huge struggle?

I'd also like your thoughts on how likely I am to get accepted if I applied to some of the top universities I.e. LSE, Imperial, UCL, Warwick, Oxbridge.

How do I structure my personal statement to justify this huge career/study choice change? My primary motive is that there isn't any money in engineering unless you spend decades in the industry.

I will be applying for the 2 year part-time courses while still working for my current employer. Does anyone know how these part time courses are delivered I.e. are the classes in the evening? Or are they delivered in week-long chunks where you'd be expected to take the week off work that given week to attend the course?
