American applying with 2 AP test scores, U.K. university requires 3 test scores? watch

    • Thread Starter

What are the chances of getting accepted? I did 2 in high school and am not going to do anymore. The uni requires an SAT score and 3 AP test results. I'm applying for social sciences.

UK unis are quite flexible these days with their requirements for non-standard qualifications/experience and international ones.

It will depend very much on which unis you apply to: some might consider qualifications in the light of other merits such as quality and relevance of work experience, actual marks in the qualifications that you do have, and as mentined above, actual life experiences e.g. history of paid or voluntary work in a similar sector, in your case e.g. [time spent in some social work], or an original project out of your own initiative e.g. from the top of my head, the initiation, planning and implementation of a fund-raising event that benefits a charity for socially-deprived children.

Look at it from a broad perspective, and prepare with whatever you enjoy and are good at. Then exemplify all these factors concisely but clearly in your PS, emphasizing the knowledge and insight derived from these activities.

    Good luck!
