A levels are a 2 year course, a good place to start looking would be city colleges that offer courses for all age groups. Or search for adult courses.

A board is the company that writes the exams. There are lots, Edexcel is one of the boards. There is also AQA, OCR and others.

Basically, find out the board for each of your exams, then search on amazon for the textbooks

You do not need A-levels as a foreign applicant. See the entry requirements for your country. If you meet the entry requirements for your country, you can apply.

Hey! For the best results in your exams, you'll need to know which board your exams are written by (Edexcel, OCR, AQA). Then, I'd get their specific course books offf Amazon or online. Different boards test slightly different things in the exam, so it's best to get a book made specifically for the exam.

Being a home student means you live in the UK and have lived in the UK for at least three years before your course starts, not that you have A-levels.
You cannot apply as a home student unless you meet these criteria.

I don't do physics but I do biology and chemistry. The textbook you need depends on the exam board you are using to do the exam. Find out which exam board the exam is, then search for textbooks endorsed by that board. Also there is a new A-level system that started last year, but some places are still doing the old version so you need to find that too
