Why do they look down on me for starting my career at 27 Watch

So I'm not acknowledged by any of my uncle's and aunt's. What's the point of looking down on me even when I will be the potential highest earner.

At a Christmas party just gone:

    1) my oldest uncle was talking behind my father and I's back and he even said to my other uncle's "I do not not pick up the phone" wow, does he have camera's so he knows it's me who doesn't pick up the phone. He could use his common sense and text, phone me by my mobile. Does he have sense?

    2) My other uncle said I'm finished for some reason.

    3) My other uncle called my sister rich even though my last job interview is better paid than her job.

I'm earning money doing some freelance web development and it seems like they will continue to ignore me.

I've also been told I'm liar because they do not believe I've had interviews and they do not believe I'm earning money freelancing.

    So what do I do?

    Forget them and their thoughts.

If they want to be like that, is it worth trying to win their approval or affection?

Focus on yourself - eventually they will recognize the progress and success you make, without you needing to promote it.
